Museum Events (Subject to change without notice) Sunday 15th June 2008: Rear-Engined Day A Display and Running Day, featuring a network of rides in the Surrey countryside on a variety of rear-engined vehicles. Bank Holiday Monday 25th August 2008: Road-Rail Day A Display and Running Day featuring a variety of vehicles, some of which will be providing rides between the Museum and the Great Cockcrow Railway in Chertsey. Sunday 26th October 2008: Green Day Cobham goes "green" in this finale to the season with a celebration of Country buses and Green Line Coaches. Again, some vehicles will be providing rides around the area. General Event Details Bus route 462 links Weybridge Station and the Museum on event days. A full timetable of this service will be available to download here during mid April 2008. All events will feature: Museum, Shop and Refreshments 1000-1700hrs. A wide range of bus-related items in the Museum Shop for adults and children. Collectors’ market with visiting stalls. Conducted tours of the Museum and workshops. Regent Cinema aboard an unrestored 1937 London bus. A selection of vintage buses operating over various routes. Limited car parking along Redhill Road beyond the Silvermere Golf Club and plenty at Weybridge Station. All events run from 10.00am to 5.00pm. The admission cost is £5.00 for each event. Please note that only disabled parking is available at the Museum on these special days. If you intend to come to one of these events please park at Weybridge Station, and make use of the bus services.
