Sunday 11th April 2010: Spring Gathering 2010Wisley Airfield will once again be the main showground for our annual Spring Gathering event and this year's theme will be Green Line 80, to celebrate the anniversary of this cross London web of services. Our engineering staff are working hard to get T504 back on the road, a fine example of the 10T10 class of vehicle, built in 1936, that served long distance passengers during the golden years of the coach services. We have also invited other preservation groups to bring along a selection of their vehicles to add another dimension to the displays and broaden the appeal of the day. We'll have our usual timetable of bus services linking Weybridge station with Wisley Airfield and Redhill Road, plus the heritage trips interconnecting the main showground to the Museum, so they'll be plenty of opportunities to travel on a range of old and new vehicles. So put the date in your diary and look out for further announcements on this page. For any additional information on our events, please contact us via email.
