RF 672
Date:1953
Registration:NLE 672
Acquired by Museum:-
Current State:Fully restored, operational
RF 672 was amongst the last of 700 RF vehicles when delivered in September 1953 as a country bus to East Grinstead garage and was used to replace the last remnants of the pre-war T class single deckers. The vehicle received overhauls in 1958, 1962, 1967 and was withdrawal from service in January 1972.

Disposal was to Continental Pioneer of Richmond, Surrey in March 1972, passing to the Victoria Preservation Group in August 1972, to Mr R G Redfern in April 1973 and acquired by the current owners in January 1976. The vehicles extensive renovation has necessitated the removal of countless modifications made over its service life to restore RF 672 to its 1953 condition.

This vehicle is privately owned.
