Depot 45 in Cobham's Redhill Road was one of the Vickers Works' out-stations and a terminus for buses on the 462 route. Detop 45 still exists today and, unbelievably, is now Cobham Bus Museum! T 357 was found in a barn in Dunkirk in 2002, and given the bus's local history, the Museum did not hesitate in making an offer to buy it. The offer was accepted and arrangements for the bus to return on a low-loader were put in hand. On Friday 14th March 2003, the bus re-entered the grounds of Depot 45, which is now Cobham Bus Museum, over 58 years since it had last been there! The bus is in need of a full restoration, but seems to have remained structurely sound, as it has been under cover since the 1950s. It is hoped that this vehicle will be one of the next to be restored, but not until the all the current restoration projects have been finished.
